CHRISTMAS 2023 – WE ARE HELPING LOCALLY

WE ARE ONCE AGAIN FOCUSSING ON »DONATIONS INSTEAD OF GIFTS«.

A heartfelt »thank you« to all customers, partners and suppliers
As we do every year at Christmas time we would like to thank all our customers, partners, suppliers and companions from the bottom of our hearts for a successful 2023. 2023 was once again challenging in many respects – the ongoing war in Ukraine, the escalating situation in the Gaza Strip, the energy crisis, inflation and climate change are just some of the major issues that have certainly preoccupied and continue to preoccupy many of us. This makes it all the more important to simply say thank you from time to time – to say thank you for all the good things and to all the people who are with us.

Dear customers, partners and suppliers – thank you for the trusting and successful collaboration in 2023!

It has already become a good tradition for us – instead of Christmas presents for our loyal customers we are once again supporting a local and social project in 2023.

The »Evangelisches Kinderdorf Johannesstift e. V.« in Vechta (Lower-Saxony, Germany) gives children a home
The »Evangelisches Kinderdorf Johannesstift e. V.« is a modern child and youth welfare centre that provides a home for young people in challenging times and supports and encourages them in their development. Families are supported in difficult situations and work is done together with the parents to strengthen the family system and restore future prospects. As a diaconal institution, the Johannesstift e. V. is characterised in its work by a Christian, ethical and humanistic world view and is guided by professionally sound methodological approaches and working methods. Founded in 1968, Johannesstift e. V. currently cares for over 110 young people aged between 6 months and 21 years in inpatient and day-care centres. The educational objectives are always focussed on the individual with their individual resources and needs. The young people experience security and protection in an appreciative and accepting environment and are thus stabilised and strengthened in their social and personal skills.

In December 2023 – just before Christmas – Stefan Rakers, Managing Director, and his assistant Elsbeth Benke were given a detailed tour of the Johannesstift by the Head of organisation Thomas Zellner and learnt first-hand how important and extensive the work here at the children's village is. Stefan Rakers emphasised that it is always difficult to hear about the different and sometimes traumatic experiences of the young residents. He was glad that HAGOLA was able to make a small contribution to a better future for these young people with this year's Christmas donation. Thomas Zellner thanked HAGOLA on behalf of the »Evangelisches Kinderdorf Johannesstift e. V.« for its generous support and was delighted with the fantastic recognition of the work and mission of the Johannesstift.
