CHRISTMAS 2025 – WE SAY »THANK YOU«

OUR THANKS TO YOU HELPS DIRECTLY AND LOCALLY

Christmas 2025 – Time for a heartfelt »thank you«
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our partners, customers and suppliers who have accompanied us in 2025 – thank you for the trusting cooperation, the many intensive discussions, the great projects, the pleasant partnership, the trust and loyalty in the projects and ideas we have realised. In keeping with tradition, instead of giving Christmas presents to our customers, we are once again supporting a local social institution in 2025.

A heart for the »Kinderhospiz Löwenherz e.V«
Following on from 2018, the »Kinderhospiz Löwenherz e.V.« in Syke near Bremen (Germany) is delighted to receive a Christmas donation from HAGOLA for the second time. The »Löwenherz« is a place for terminally ill children, adolescents and young adults (aged 0 to 27), their parents and siblings, where they are accompanied and strengthened to find new strength. The focus of care and support here is on respect for the uniqueness of the child and their family. The experiences of the families form the basis of everything they do at Löwenherz. The services offered cover many different aspects, ensuring holistic care.

Relieving the burden on family carers, giving them time to deal with the special situation and removing them from everyday pressures is an important building block for the whole family. When a cure is no longer possible, palliative care focuses on ensuring the highest possible quality of life for children and young people. Palliative care is not only about physical well-being, but also includes the social, mental and emotional needs of the sick children and young people and the entire family. End-of-life care is also part of Löwenherz and offers families a safe space where individual needs can be listened to and addressed. A pastoral care worker and her team are available to help families to deal with the issues of dying and death and the resulting questions of faith and life – all while respecting the cultural and religious backgrounds of each family.

The team of doctors provides general paediatric care as well as paediatric palliative care for young patients – the educational support provided by social and special education professionals offers patients and families a comprehensive range of psychosocial support.

We are delighted that our donation is in good hands here and will be used for this important work in special life situations.
